Make your mix the perfect consistency for your project with Jesmonite’s Thixotrope.

Thixotrope will cleverly thicken your mixture to a paste-like consistency, meaning you can apply a 1mm-3mm layer of Jesmonite to a surface without it running off. It’s also great for disguising glass reinforcements and repairing any cracks or breaks!

Our shipping costs are worked out by the gross weight of your order delivered to your address. NB: We do not currently ship internationally (UK only).

Reverse gravity and use Thixotrope with curved, domed or vertical surfaces. This multi-functional product will also help to prevent any glass reinforcements showing through the on the face of your creation for a professional and sleek finish. You can also use Jesmonite Thixotrope to repair any cracks or breaks in your pieces by using it to turn your mixed liquid and powder into a paste consistency. This paste also works like a glue to join two pieces together.

Add Jesmonite Thixotrope to your mix drop by drop until you reach the consistency you need. Add no more than 2g-6g per kg of mix and enjoy experimenting with new and exciting ways to use Jesmonite!
